    Sustainability Programs for Northeastern Students

The Initiative offers a variety of academic opportunities for students across the University and abroad. International field programs engage students by allowing them to delve into social, political and business decisions surrounding sustainable business practices. Summer field programs include agriculture in Costa Rica and renewable energy and sustainable commercial fishing in Iceland.

The D'Amore-McKim School of Business, College of Engineering, College of Science and the School of Law offers courses and programs at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. At the undergraduate level, students across all disciplines at Northeastern can choose to minor in Sustainable Business Practices. For the interdisciplinary minor, students take three courses focused on sustainability and complete an eight semester-hour summer field research project at one of the international sites.
