New Accounting Faculty: Colin Reid


  • ReidC_profileColin Reid joins the Accounting group as an Assistant Professor. Prior to his arrival at Northeastern, he earned his Ph.D. from the University of Tennessee. Prior to that, he worked as an auditor for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Dallas. During his time with PwC, Colin performed audit work for clients in a wide range of industries including technology, defense contracting, retail, and construction. His primary research interests pertain to auditing and corporate governance issues. He is also on the editorial board of the Journal of International Accounting, Auditing & Taxation. Colin taught financial accounting at the introductory level while at Tennessee and is teaching intermediate accounting at Northeastern. Colin and his wife moved to Brookline this summer.
