On April 14, 2010, two College of Business Administration students received the annual scholarship presented by the Financial Executives International (FEI). Both Cai Gao and Alex Borodkin should be congratulated. The competition is between seven area colleges and universities, each of whom nominates a maximum of 2 students. All the applicants go through a rigorous application process including a personal essay judged by the FEI scholarship committee. Professor Michael D. Cottrill, Senior Lecturer in the Northeastern University Accounting Group, hosted the students at the event. This honor is even more special because Northeastern’s president, Dr. Joseph Aoun, was the keynote speaker. This is the second consecutive year that Northeastern students received this award.
