Russ O’Haver joins the Accounting group as a Senior Academic Specialist after spending the better part of the past twenty-five years at Ernst & Young New York. He was a Partner in the International Tax practice, specifically starting and building an eighty person Transfer Pricing practice to assist large multinationals. He has been involved in tax planning, compliance, provisions, and controversy defense. While have taken quite a bit of accounting as an undergraduate, Russ has a PhD in Economics and has taught as an adjunct at various institutions (most recently Managerial and Cost Accounting courses at Fairfield University). His publications appear in many journals, including the Journal of Banking Law, the Journal of Internet Law, and the Journal of Legal Economics. Russ and his wife (a Bostonian!) have two college age daughters. They live in the Back Bay area of downtown Boston.
