    Transportation

OLKC4Boston is served by Logan International Airport (BOS). Logan is located 6 miles (10 km) from the hotel and our campus. Directions to the hotel are:

By taxi: You can find taxi stands outside of any terminal at Logan Airport. The trip should take about 20 minutes, and the fare will be about $30.00 including $7.50 for tolls and fees. For more information click here.

By public transportation: Take the free shuttle bus to the Airport "T" (light trail vehicle) station at the airport. Take the Blue Line inbound to Government Center. Change at Government Center to the Green Line E - Heath Street. (Note: there are 4 different green lines that use the same track, B, C, D and E, so make sure you take the E line.) Get off at the Prudential Station. The hotel is across the street from the Prudential Center. The fare is US$2.00.

    The T

Boston is served by an extensive network of bus and light rail transportation. This network is run by the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority, known as the MBTA. The light rail service is referred to as "The T" (short for "transit", in the old days the rail was run by the Massachusetts Transit Authority) and riding a light rail vehicle is referred to as "taking the T."

    OLKC5

The Colonnade hotel is located across the street from the Prudential T station (Green Line E), and the campus is located at the Northeastern T station (Green Line E). Fares are generally $2.00 per ride, and various multi-ride and multi-day passes are available. For more information, go to the MBTA web site.

    Train

Should you chose to travel beyond greater Boston, the Colonnade is located just a short distance from the Back Bay train station (also located at the Back Bay Orange Line T station). The Commuter Rail travels to cities and towns around Boston, and Amtrak travels to cities across the country. You can get the Accela Express to New York at Back Bay and be in downtown New York in about 3.5 hours.

    Shared van

You can share a van by using one of these services. The rates are usually about half of the taxi fare.
